Reliability Specialist/Engineer

This position will be responsible to ensure a safe and efficient work environment along with proper documentation of the work performed. A Reliability Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the execution of preventive & predictive programs at our clients sites. Corrective maintenance solutions for rotating and mechanical systems are to be implemented on equipment in multiple facilities. 

As a team member, you will be expected to work independently and make technical decisions and recommendations in the field.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls and inspections - including corrective, preventative or predictive work of industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment (For Example: Hammer Mills, Pumps, Turbines, Cooling Towers, Fans, etc.)

  2. This position requires a combination of mechanical and diagnostics work.

  3. This position requires an average of 12-14 nights/per month of overnight work.

  4. The Employee will be required to work in different plant environments throughout the Midwest.

  5. This position will also be on call every 6 weeks for a period of Monday-Sunday.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum: Associates degree in industrial maintenance and/or mechanical background in work experience.

  2. Vibration Analyst ISO Category III: Level II or obtain Level II within 2 years. We will provide training as needed.

  3. Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  4. Excellent customer communication skills, high level mechanical skills, knowledge of vibration analysis, laser alignment, and dynamic balancing are preferred, but will train.

  5. Data Collection, SKF Software (creating routes, using route manager, importing/exporting data, speed tagging, changing input setup values), Laser Alignment (Belt & Direct couple machines), Balancing (Dynamic & Static Balancing). We will provide training as needed.

  6. Knowledge of computers and software

    • Word

    • Excel

    • Outlook

    • Non-Destructive Testing

    • Ultra Sonic Testing

    • Oil Analysis

Non-Destructive Testing Technician/Trainee

Predictive Technologies, Inc. (PTI) is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Trainee/Assistant. This position includes on the job training with the opportunity to gain a Level I and Level II certification. Beneficial to have knowledge in NDT methods such as, PT, VT, MT, and UT. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist our level II NDT technician complete various NDT inspections at our clients job sites. 

  2. Must complete training to obtain your level II certification.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must have high school diploma

  2. Minimum: Associates degree and/or background and experience in NDT field

  3. Basic knowledge of NDT methods, inspections, and welding with ability to complete Level I or Level II within 2 years.

  4. Basic computer and software knowledge

Millwright Mechanic

We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright Mechanic. This position will be responsible to ensure a safe and efficient work environment along with proper documentation of the work performed. A Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for the execution of preventive, mechanical, & predictive programs at our client sites. Corrective maintenance solutions for rotating and mechanical systems are to be implemented on equipment in multiple facilities. As a team member at Predictive Technologies, you will be expected to work independently and make technical decisions and recommendations in the field.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls and inspections – including corrective, preventative or predictive work of industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment (For Example: Hammer Mills, Pumps, Turbines, Cooling Towers, Fans, etc…)

This position requires a combination of mechanical and diagnostics work. This position requires an average of twelve - fourteen nights out of the month of overnight work. The Employee will be required to work in different plant environments throughout the Midwest. This position will also be on call every 6 weeks for a period of Monday-Sunday.

Qualifications:

  • Desirable: 

    • Minimum: Associates degree in industrial maintenance and/or mechanical background in work experience.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential): Excellent customer communication skills, high level mechanical skills (A Must), Welding, bearing replacements, pump alignments, equipment rebuilds.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable): Laser Alignment(Belt & Direct couple machines) and Balancing (Dynamic & Static Balancing). PTI will provide training as needed. Knowledge of computers and software (Word/Excel/Outlook), Non-Destructive Testing, Ultra Sonic Testing, Oil Analysis.

Required:

  • High School Education or equivalent

  • Associate or Experience in Field

  • Drivers license

  • 50% traveling position

  • 4 years industrial mechanic experience​
