ACCEPTANCE TESTING (COMMISSIONING)
New or recently rebuilt equipment are ideal candidates for implementing and verifying Vibration, Alignment, and/or Balance standards. By using 3rd party consulting to test these equipment it ensures non-biased condition analysis. This all to be done before the OEM warranty expires. Setting an acceptance standard for your facility is a critical aspect of your proactive strategy. This allows you to be in the drivers seat when ordering new and/or repairing existing equipment. You will find that by implementing your own standard, there will be accountability when and if equipment has problems. You also may find that currently 25% of your new or rebuilt equipment being installed will not pass once these standards are implemented. Then, in most cases the problem will now become yours.
